Nothing but something

I spent the last 2 days in Bonnievale.  A beautiful little town between Swellendam and Robertson in the Western Cape.

We have been supplying uncapped internet to a stunning restaurant called Karins on Main in the main road of Bonnievale.  They have almost finished their Hotel called The Sophia which is about 200m down the road.  Every room has a different theme.  One room looks like a shack inside and another depicting Nelson Mandela prison cell and more.  The service at the Restaurant and Hotel is awesome!

They needed the hotel and restaurant linked wirelessly in order for the POS equipment to work and guests to be on the internet.  We obviously gladly assisted and today they have 1 antenna on the restaurant roof and another on the hotel roof.  These antennas making the two buildings part of one network wirelessly.  All the quests in the hotel would be able to have their free wireless internet as well as in the restaurant.  Their POS equipment would be able to talk to each other via the network.  Their official opening of the hotel is on the 8th of June if all goes according to plan.

Both the Karins on Main restaurant and the Hotel Sophia are highly recommended!

The situation of wireless reminded me of a verse Hebrews 11:1:  Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.

I cannot see the wireless link between the restaurant and the hotel but i know its there.  There is communication between those two buildings.  I can browse the internet in the hotel but its coming all the way from the Restaurant through the wireless network.

Sometimes the things we trust in, believe in, we cannot see but its there.  We can feel it, almost taste it although we cannot see it.  We have to trust in the One who made the stars instead of looking at the stars for our answers we seek for.

When we trust in God, we can be assured that even though we cannot see the results, see the bigger picture that He is and always will be in control.

Have faith!
